The Importance of Prayer

In one of our groups this week on the ladder of divine ascent we got speaking about memory and imagination. We're clinging to something that's a construct of the mind but it's not based in any lived reality or experience. If we allowed ourselves to be guided by the spirit in terms of how we pray from moment to moment then our prayer life would probably look radically different.
