What Is the Objective of a Registered Market Maker?

As an options market maker, you have responsibilities to be present in the arket a certain amount of time at certain market widths. We're pretty much just trying to make sure that we are buying below fair value and selling above fair value as many times as we possibly can. For us, it pretty much is as simple as that. So there's a ton of trading going on in the market every day,. And we've built an electronic system that can look across all that different activity and find places where we feel like we're likely to be able to either add or remove liquidity.
