Brian Wells had made it to the first destination. He found the note with the directions to the second location in the exact spot where it was supposed to be. Police did find footprints that looked like they belonged to Brian Wells, and tire tracks that seemed to match the treads on his geometro. Perhaps the scavenger hunt was never meant to have a successful ending.
