The Power of the Dog and a Piano by Jane Campion
This is the first overt film by jane campion with a male protagonist. The movie stars kat set and harvey caitel, who played the gentleman caller in the piano. I don't think it's ever really clear whether her dedication to finding enlightenment is real or not. And i think that modof er sort of is a bit of a hit or miss, but this one is definally a hit.
