The Nuclear Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

The atomic bombs claimed as many as a hundred and forty thousand lives at hiroshima and 74 thousand in nakasaki. The nuclear radiation released by the fall tfrom the mushroom cloud that frank just described, rising 20, 30 thousand feet, caused thousands more to suffer from radiation sickness. Those who survived the bombings are known as habaksha. Many of these survivors suffered lifelong psychological trama.
