"It was a five month torture camp. And i had francs there for the first two months," he says of his time in France. "We trained at five a m, ten a m and four p m - no rubby teams have ever done that." He also learned how to use 'prefabs', building blocks which help him focus on specific qualities such as ankle stiffness or roll of abdominals during agility drills. The training is intense but it gives you an edge over other coaches who are just trying to get by with what they've been taught.
