I'm a Wounded Child and I've Been on Medication for a Long Time Now and It's Changing My Life
Laura has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The diagnosis helped her recognize that she is different from other people and find ways to deal with it. She says the medication also helps regulate her moods in a way which can be hard for someone who's used to being very self-conscious about their condition. "I'm so much more of an adult when my medication is on and working at night," Laura said.
