How to Calculate the Weight of an Olympic Swimming Pool

The global e-waste monitor 2020 assessed that 53.6 million metric tons of e-Waste was generated worldwide. This amount is 21,440 Olympic swimming pools and it is roughly a quarter of the area of Paris. If we want to store all the e- Waste generated in the last four years worldwide, we will need to erase Paris and replace it by swimming pools in four years. The data are available open to the open public as well because they are published in the UN contract database.
