Novel Review - Victor Frankenstein
Victor Frankenstein creates this monster out of the body parts of dead people, because he wants to overcome death. There's a lot of heavy psychoanalytic stuff going on at that point in the novel. Victor wanting to be a mother in some ways as well, because this way of bringing new life into the world does cut women out of the equation.
