Elieza's Intuitions and Methodologies
I think Elieza would like to say that the last 20 years give a lot of evidence for his object-level intuitions and general way of thinking about the world. If that's the case, I think we should very strongly expect that he can state predictions about the future that will systematically be better than those of people who don't share his intuitions or reasoning strategies. But I don't feel like I actually have much confidence about that, so I think it really does just come down to the arguments. And whose support comes almost entirely from reasoning and argument. This was a reading of where I agree and disagree with Elieza, posted by the less-wrong user Paul F.
