Liz Wheeler: The charge that prosecutors are planning to hinge this charge on, they're going to elevate the misdemeanor to a felony hinging on the fact that they think that they can prove that Trump had the intent to conceal or commit another crime. This alleged other crime would be full or campaign finance violations, she says. Wheeler: I'm not sure how any prosecutor could think that they would be able to definitively prove that the only reason Trump did this was to benefit his presidential campaign. There's simply no way to prove that definitively, which is why this is so bananas absurd.
