The first tour of Silk Road actually is still more like a try out and see what the audience reaction of this kind of a combination of the group. The presenters who booked us didn't want a full concert of Silk Road because they didn't know what it was. We wanted to go from the heart of what they knew so that we could make the connection to what people might be used to hearing, says Yoyo Ma.
