Al Pacino is a screen and stage actor. Emerging from New York’s underground theater scene in the 1960s, he refined his craft under mentors including Lee Strasberg and Charlie Laughton. In addition to his on-screen appearances in television and film, Pacino has also taken on various directorial and production roles, and he currently serves as co-president of The Actors Studio alongside Ellen Burstyn and Alec Baldwin. His New York Times bestselling memoir, Sonny Boy, serves as a reflection of his life, craft, and the roles that shaped his extraordinary career.
