There's a temptation in simplistic discourse for us to say, well, if you're saying a thing that is not true, then you're lying. All three suspects are either misremembering, either on purpose or by accident. But I believe nobody's lying and that everybody is wrong. And when you allow yourself to accept that, all of a sudden things become possible that you wouldn't otherwise think.
