Apple's Spotlight Is a Great Search Engine for Mac OS X
The advantage of Spotlight is it's so integrated to Mac OS. It gets access to files and data that the other ones don't get. The search results are slow and ponderous, in my opinion. You can exclude things like events and reminders or fonts from your search results.
