How I Got My Start in Filmmaking
I did a university degree at York University in North of England, and trained as a classical composer. And then spent 15 years at the BBC, working my way up through sound editing and then picture editing eventually. What was your first feature film that you did? It was a film that didn't get released. I worked on something that didn't actually get distributed. So it was kind of, you know, I just picked up some experience and learned some differences between cinema and television from there.
