The Role of History in Patriarchy in the Early Church
LZ Granderson: Jesus had already given women the freedom to speak. He asks, how are we in a faith where from the very beginning, we saw women in some of the most active roles? LZ: The reason patriarchy continues to endure is because humans continue to be sinful. And so I think the piece of the puzzle to this is set back in Genesis if we think about the curse and what is spoken to Eve.
