The Shrinkage of the Movie Industry

Alex Castellanos: There's been a rapidly advancing sort of shrinkage of the movie going audience as a result of the rise of streaming technology and a lot of the storytelling going to TV. He says we live in such a more fraught industry now where every movie has to hit and they just don't. The model is that if you have really great movies that you work really hard on, some of those are really going to hit. That was the model that the studios used to be very comfortable with. But now the pressure is on.
