The History of Satyam Computers
I had about a million dollars with me. I only invested 1% of that in India. And half of that $10,000, I put into Satyam computers. But if you remember the early 90s in India, mid 90s, Satyam's market cap was less than the value of their Hyderabad real estate. There was no value actually being ascribed to a business that was growing about 80%. In January 2000, he got physical share certificates of all these stocks and they were falling apart.
