What's in Your Mind Right Now?
Liam: I'm interested in the way that most science fiction visions deal with cliche right. The biggest part of what I do especially in my world building for film and TV here in Hollywood is attempts to avoid those tropes and cliches but at the same time a lot of my work will lean on them because they're a shorthand and audiences can start to connect with them. In this moment, Planet City I hope could be described as a new aesthetic language for the future. Perhaps it is an artifact of what we could call not cyberpunk or solarpunk but perhaps planetary punk or infrastructure punk.
