What Role Does Congress Play?
I'm left at the end of the day wondering what role does Congress play anymore? You have the house tax bills originate there. But largely the day to day stuff, it's fobbed off onto agencies that write their own rules. And Congress has kind of left not doing much of anything save for setting the tax code. I think they would also be horrified by how much authority we have ceded to the government.
