Overfitting - What Is It?

Overfitting is the production of an analysis that corresponds too closely or exactly to a particular set of data and may therefore fail to fit an additional data or predict future observations reliably. What we would call intuition, I find to be enormously reliable. Let's talk about overfitting. Overfitting is something different than just just having statistical models. Okay. So what would it look like to be more open minded about that guy's behavior? That was probably a good inference based on the statistical data that I had. But he saved, he saved 10 seconds.
