David Miliband and the Brexit Story

Miliband is always somewhere on the edge of these stories as the person who might, if he were to come back, make the difference. He intervenes in the sense that he says things from New York and one recently was that we should be pushing for a second referendum. But I don't think even they entertain huge prospects of success. The thing that's striking at the moment is that there is obviously a huge focus on how it's going to happen. There is almost no politician who's articulating a clear vision of a post-Brexit Britain.
