The Problem With Indulgences
Ryan: What exactly is the problem with indulgences? It tempts your tempting me. Frodo you're tempting me because everything about indulgences is wrong. If you are a seminarian in a Baptist or evangelical school and a theologian who loves and promotes indulgences, you are in dangerous territory. This is an absolute reversal of the truth of gospel grace. There is no purchasing of forgiveness. The church cannot grant pardons. You are pardoned in the moment of saving faith.
