The UN Special Rapporteur on Torture
The UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment has written to the government of Russia. She's alleged systemic torture directed from above but she couldn't speak too specifically about individual cases because these are allegations. Dom Nickl: The public will be able to see this allegation letter by early August at which point we will see exactly what these allegations are. They've signed up to the UN Convention on Torture. So you know, obviously expect them to do the right thing here.
