The majority of books on foraging out there are simply written from a position of extraction. Every book on foraging just tells you if something is edible or not, and how to eat it. There's an anecdotal story that i tell around foraging in particular. I think of like, a slavegie quote that's like ithink it was when he was a t occupy wall street.
