The IRL Has Something to Do With Social Media
I get asked all the time about just like NFT stuff and like what the value of art is in person. It's so clear to me that it just becomes more valuable to spend time in physical space right now with people. I think there's a danger in extrapolating out this curve though. We may have overvalued the potentials for social media to act as a type of political education or aesthetic education. The result of these communities in the last few years are on the whole pretty disappointing.
