In 2009, Ray signed an agreement with them under which three companies that he owned were not allowed to engage in false or misleading advertising and pyramid schemes. The case was settled without an admission of wrongdoing and a fine of $100,000 but let's be blunt here, this is very easily worked around. All Ray needed was a new company and he was back in business. He didn't even have to admit to the scamming, so he might as well have gotten just the cutest little slap on the wrist there.
