The Trans-Marketification of Roles in the UX Industry
The demise of UX is very much exaggerated. It's a timeless technique. It will never die in my view. But there's a big opportunity for UX professionals and people interested in qualitative and quantitative research techniques. That's at the heart of lean teams actually building products. The industry has changed massively, but the roles haven't. So what do we need now is not so much a UX professional who's done some moderation. We need somebody who's tool proficient with a range of call and quant tools that they can use to inspect problem domains.
