Socrates' Speech and Praise of Love

For like Socrates and D.A. team, it's love that is what giving birth and beauty,. It's mediating gods and men, it's that drive for immortality. So I think in that sense, perhaps, you know, you could say love is the highest goal at least from the standpoint of certain aspects of the speeches. But on the other hand, the notion of arrows, which is the specific type of love that's in play here, if you look at arrows in terms of the Republic, that becomes threatening because arrows can lead to a kind of madness.
