According to the adhavita Vedanta, truth is that which cannot be canceled. If you cancel consciousness, consciousness does not exist says Shankaracharya. So what can never be canceled? Sat, chit, Brahman. That becomes true truth logically. But they're all attacking your use of the word like a suffix, what? And that's led to this firestorm of controversy.
