The Benefits of Tronic Samic Acid
No benefit in an RCT of 31 patients, I mean that is a big pinch of salt. So what it sounds like is you're describing something which theoretically should work but we probably don't know. But there is one other drug that's got a potential use for it though. Tronic Samic acid. It inhibits the conversion of plasmidogen to plasmid which we know. Now this is a key step involved in the amplification of something called calicrene. And TXA use was supported by some data from the 70s so we're going way back. There's also a small study of about 33 patients and again in 2018 which demonstrated a significant improvement in symptoms.
