The Importance of Timing in Elections

The court is essentially saying we have to maintain this deadline to protect the integrity of the election. I mean, once again, it's shitty dad behavior, right? He's like, I'd love to come to your softball game, but you know, moderate traffic. Some imaginary reason that exists only to be a reason. But what does it do to the institution of elections to not count everyone's votes? That's a much bigger problem for the legitimacy of elections than missing a random deadline.
