Hegel's Nothingness - Is There Nothing Beyond It?
The sublime as an object is therefore a paradox of an object which provides a view, in a negative way, of the dimension of what is unrepresentable. The appearance obscures the fact that there's nothing beyond it to begin with. So when we interact, wt with he sublime object, it's this kind of intermingling of a feeling like be like beyond, or even terror, or incapacity to understand. Andandn and the symbolic order is the term that i think we want to lean on here is that the symbolic order arises around its own failure.
