The Dollar and the Economy of Europe

If US rates go up more than Europe, the euro could go down against the dollar. But if in that process you break the stability of US financial markets and the money goes home, that's when actually the dollar could really weakenAgainst those currencies in particular. That's why I've got a euro trade on, slightly long. We put it on so that this thing could come off a little bit, and then we'll see what happens after that. The dollar is the one variable I'm watching very, very, very closely.
