The Swedish Immigrants in Lindsborg, Kansas
The town of Lindsburg has really hung on to that identity and celebrated it so the town is full of lots of markers of Swedishness including painted dolla horses all over town. But then also in contrast there's this very strong immigrant texture that goes back more than a hundred years in Lindsborg. So one thing that really fascinated me about your own life in recent years when your sons were younger is that you found a shuttle bus that took the local Mexican migrants back to their part of Mexico.
