Gaudi's the Sagrada Familia
Gaudi was a very conservative catholic. His feelings for the church and for jesus ran deep and pures. Right at the heart of his belief system was this idea that christ suffering is something that we understand only through our own suffering. Gaudee received the commission to build the segrada familia after the original architect resigned from the project, he was only in his early thirties. i think gaude felt his duty as an architect, and certainly with the sagrada familia, was that a building should reflect the glory of god"
