The World Bank's Role in Crisis Relief
At the top of the immediate agenda is the decision to provide financing to Turkey. Almost $1.8 billion. And can you talk to me about how quickly that money will be put to use? I've seen some estimates to the tune of up to $8 billion in terms of the requirements for rebuilding and also support to those impacted David even at this stage. Can you give us any sense of assessment of just how much money rebuilding and supporting Turkey could indeed require? The World Bank's role and capabilities in crises like this is impressive, he says.
