The league says that ridley bet on the games during a five day period last november, a period which he had stepped away from football to address his mental well being. In a letter to ridley, commissioner roger gadell wrote that his actions had put the integrity of the game at risk. He supposedly bet on his team in a series of tweets following his suspension.
