The skin now seems to be an important organ that stores pools of sodium. Sodium may move in and out of the extra cellular fluid depending on its requirements from skin. A d h am and eldostrone actually work in other cells, not just the kidneys. We're ingesting something like seven, eight, nine grams per day.
