The Meshwesh in Egypt
The people of Libya are considered to be Berbers. Egypt had campaigned in Libya at least as far back as the days of the Old Kingdom. The Meshwesh Libyan Berbers were able to become the pharaohs of the 22nd dynasty. They intermarried and ultimately inherited the throne, so now Egypt appears to be under a foreign rule.
