The Final Cause Is a Real Cause

When you realize that the final cause is a real cause, it's not just an outcome. The acorn is meant to become an oak tree and if it fails to do so, something has gone wrong with it. Everything which is acting towards an end is acting towards some sort of actuality. It's seeking to be actualized or perfected in which case such things don't have that actuality per se,. They're dependent on something which is just actual per se.
