Odyssey: A Black Romance Author's Journey
When the book came out, there was nowhere to put it because the bookstores didn't understand what this black book thing was supposed to be. Odyssey was ultimately able to publish quite a few other black romance authors and then Kensington Publishing launched the Arab Best Line. And so now when you go into a bookstore and you see, you know, black romances on the shelves, that was not a thing. You know, when I first started, you couldn't find them. They just were not there. So it's a lot has changed since, since then.
