The Week in Art

CHAPTER

MoMA's Digital Experiences

There was a lot more kind of physicality in the booths rather than just screens or as has increased this year these immersive experiences. Refik Anadol's work is also on show with Pillow Nelly Gallery in the digital section and there are a few works by him ranging between $100,000 for video and 200 ETH which is around $330,000 for his NFT video works. So he's really having a moment and yeah people are excited to see his work coming some it's not for everyone I read a piece by Jerry Saltz who described his MoMA piece as a glorified lava lamp so there's definitely an appetite here for that kind of work.
