your host, Alan Weima. Today I'm with Shrong Joo. I'm not too sure if I said that correctly because I don't know the characters, a few names. He is a software developer based out of Beijing, working for ByteDance, which is the creator of everybody's favorite app, TikTok, which I heard is very addictive. We were talking before the show. We are not allowed in Hong Kong to use TikTok or Dalian. What Dalian is the Chinese version of TikTok. So welcome Shrong Joo. How are you?

No, it's good to get you on here. Yeah, I mean, we were talking a little bit about your background, right? You're not using Rust in your daily job, is that right?
Speaker 2
Yeah, part of the truth. I'm actually working a write and go program language in my daily job and writing Rust in my nightly and weekend time. Yeah.

Now, how do you feel? Because essentially writing Rust and your writing go, people often compare Rust and go together, right? Which one is better? How do you feel about each language? Do you like one more

than the other? Yes. Actually, I'm a professor of Rust, then go. Yeah. Rust is a high performance language that go and we don't have DC and we are type of safety and memory-cept language. Go now is simple and efficient language to work in a project. So I think most people think they both have the advantage and this is the worship of both language. Rust is even though Rust is my daily job language, I still allow to write in Rust in my space time and I wish I can have an opportunity to work in Rust or my job or my full-time job. Yeah.
