How to Deal With Inheritance Tax in Your Parents' Home

Currently, a single person can pass on up to £325,000 without any inheritance tax being due. Last year, only 4% of the people who died in the UK had to pay inheritance tax because they had assets above that threshold. So unless there's another aspect to the situation that we're not seeing, then there's really not an issue here. Of course, there'll still be things to think about and you must make sure that your parents have wills.
