YouTube Shorts

YouTube is heavily pushing short. And if you're a new creator on YouTube and you're trying to grow fast, short is the vehicle to hop on right now. The virality of a short the potential for that virality is a lot higher than that for long form video. But my question is how quality are those viewers or will they be interested in anything that's not shorts?
