Is the Song of Songs a Forgery?
The book of daniel may have been the latest and last book to be written in what's now the a hebrew bible. The process of canonization followed a bit later, after the destruction of the second temple. councils of rabbis over time engaged in debates over what they should consider real, authoritative holy scripture. These various prophets were thrown in these other writings, like psalms, proverbs, esther. All of them get included. A a few controversial cases make it in to the canon. And these interesting, controversial ones particularly are ecclesiastes, the song of songs.
