The Power of Consequences

How to do nothing by Jenny Odell is a long fiction book about philosophical musings on time. It's got that same slightly meandering quality to it but the same beautiful writing and I just felt so rich and full of ideas when I read it. Kate says she resented how to do nothing because there was no true confessions element for her in bookshelve. She also found the thinking a bit plebeian and thought we're just not simpatico. The author recommends if you like someone like Rebecca Solnit, who has an interesting mix of humour and philosophy.
