The idea of subsidiarity, that responsibility and authority should be at the lowest possible level, is very important. In line with that, a lot of our clients are tribes, so tribal governments, indigenous communities in the US. We're finding that tribal courts may be the place where this rights of nature jurisprudence really takes hold.
